MDI provides tuition for the three levels, that is AAT Foundation,
AAT Intermediate and AAT Technician.
AAT Foundation (NVQ Level 2)
Content:
- recording and accounting for cash transactions;
- recording and accounting for credit transactions;
- recording payroll transactions;
- data processing;
- communication for accounting;
- creating and maintaining effective working relationships;
- contributing to the effectiveness of the workflow;
- monitoring and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure
workplace.
Entry requirements:
3 credits in GCE O levels or West African Senior School Certificate.
Cost and duration:
D6,500 from Feb to Nov each year.
AAT Intermediate (NVQ Level 3)
Content:
- maintaining financial records and accounts;
- recording cost information;
- preparing reports and returns;
- using information technology;
- monitoring and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure
workplace.
Entry requirements:
Pass in AAT Foundation and pass in at least 3 units of Foundation
Devolved Assessment OR 3 credits in GCE O levels and 2 passes
in GCE A levels (one of which should be accounting) OR 5 credits
in West African Senior School Certificate, including one numeracy
subject.
Cost and duration:
D6,700 from Feb to Nov each year.
AAT Technician (NVQ Level 4)
Content:
- drafting financial statements;
- planning and allocation of resources;
- management of costs and enhancement of value;
- managing accounting systems;
- evaluating current and proposed activity;
- implementing auditing procedures;
- cash management and credit control system;
- monitoring and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure
workplace.
Entry requirements:
Pass in 2 units of Intermediate Central Assessment and pass
in at least 2 units of Intermediate Devolved Assessment.
Cost and duration:
D7,300 from Feb to Nov each year.
